Congrats Finn!

Local athlete, Finn Railey (SIU player and New Albany High School senior), has earned a spot on the Midwest Regional Team for the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP).

He was one of just 14 players (both boys and girls) from the state of Indiana chosen for this event, and the only player to be chosen from his age group and from the southern region of the state, to go on to compete in the ODP interregional event in Orlando, FL in January 2024.

The Midwest team will compete against teams from the East, West and South regions of the US, and players will be selected from this event to play in the US National event in March 2024. Finn has been a member of the Indiana State ODP team since 2019 and has been invited to the midwest regional pool event in Rockford, IL the last two years.

Finn is a member of Marlon Jones’ 2006 SIU travel team where he has led them in scoring within the Indiana Premier Division. He has been a member of Southern Indiana United since 2011 when he was 5 years old.
