The fall season begins in August and runs through early October.

Mandatory Coaches Meetings - Two will be offered after the close of registration and prior to practices starting
If a certain age group is not listed, they will be grouped together with other ages to form an age division.
General Info - Fees, age groups and qualifying birth dates are shown below. If you are a resident of another state, you must register with your home state to get permission to play in Indiana. Our Registrar will coordinate with the appropriate agencies when you indicate your state of residence on our Registration Form.
Team Selection - We do not have tryouts for Rec players and coaches are assigned to teams in the fall. In the spring, players will typically stay on the same team provided the coach returns and the player registers on time. All vacancies will be filled by newcomers at random by the Registrar. Children of coaches and assistant coaches will be placed with their parents.
Special requests for team placement will be considered but are only approved in rare cases.

4U Rec (born 2021): $90
5U Rec (born 2020): $90
6U Rec (born 2019): $90
7U - 8U Rec (born 2017 - 2018): $105
9U - 10U Rec (born 2015 - 2016): $115
11U - 15U Rec (born 2010 - 2014): $115
NO REFUNDS will be given without the approval of the Registrar and the VP of the SIU Rec division.
We are no longer accepting check payments through the GotSport registration program. If you would like to pay by check, please contact the registrar prior to registering your child.
Coaching
SIU Recreational Division registers approximately 600 - 700 children each season and we rely completely on volunteer coaches. We will create as many teams as possible based on the number of coaches and fields available. It's a great, no pressure opportunity to have fun with kids in your community. Coaches are eligible to receive a refund of one registration. If you are interested, please reach out to Aaron Kincade, Rec Director at recdirector@siusoccer.com.
Coaching Clinic - There is a free, mandatory clinic for coaches who have not previously completed the IYS Youth Module I training. The clinic covers age appropriate instructional activities, techniques, risk management, league guidelines and general information. Representatives of the both Indiana Soccer and SIU provide expert instruction and attendees are credited for completion of the Youth Module I training program. The place, date & time of the clinic is announced near the end of the registration period.
Volunteer Information
SIU Soccer is a community-driven organization operated entirely by dedicated volunteers, with the exception of our Travel Coaches who are compensated for their expertise. The success and growth of our club hinge on the active involvement of adults like you.

The safety of our players is our top priority. All adult volunteers must undergo a confidential background check through Indiana Soccer. Detailed instructions will be provided to volunteers after registration closes. Please ensure your background check is completed prior to the start of the season.
