Information for Players and Parents
Select, otherwise referred to as “Travel Soccer”, is designed for the player who wants to take their game to the next level. Select is a year long commitment, with the same team and coach, to provide for enhanced player development over a longer period of time. SIU’s Select philosophy does not commit a player to only playing soccer. We encourage players to follow their passions and play other sports. We ask they bring their best effort and commitment to the game of soccer when they step on the field of play.
Our club teams range in age from 9U-18U, both boys and girls.
For our younger age groups, most of the “travel” consists of games in Southern Indiana and Louisville. Our older age groups will travel throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
Teams are selected by tryouts. Our tryouts usually occur late June for the following club year. We follow the Indiana Soccer calendar guidelines for try-outs. Tryout dates will be posted on our website and social media channels.
