Fall 2025 Advanced Skills Training
Led by Academy Director & USSF “C” License Coach Blake, along with SIU Staff Coaches
What is AST?
AST (Advanced Skills Training) is Southern Indiana United’s in-club supplemental training program designed to enhance each player’s development in a fun, focused, and supportive environment.
Program Focus:
AST sessions emphasize fundamental attacking and defending principles through phase play and small-sided games. Players will experience game-realistic situations while developing technical ability, tactical understanding, and decision-making under pressure.

Why Choose AST? Structured & Progressive – Each session is designed to challenge players in age-appropriate ways, with a focus on individual improvement.
Led by Licensed Coaches – All trainings are conducted by our experienced, certified SIU coaching staff.
Fun + Development – AST blends competition and creativity to keep players engaged while maximizing development.
Real-Game Application – Players train in scenarios that translate directly to match play.
AST has been a valuable training opportunity for many of our families, and we’re excited to continue offering this high-quality program. We hope to see you and your player on the field soon!
